I dont know if its any better but Radio Shack sells the following
Power Bank 273-1900 that has variable voltage output that when set at 9V's provides 650mA. This unit will also charge 4 AA Ni-MH batteries that when fully charged will power portably the D-25S for a few hours.
273-1667, variable at 9V provides 800mA
273-1612, 9V, provides1200mA
273-1772, 9V, provides 1300mA
273-1770, 9V provides 800mA
I wonder myself if higher mA produces better fidelity?
I can't speak to the D-25s, but the Power Bank 273-1900 provides cleaner power to the D-303 than the wall wart that came with it. The 4 AA's don't hold enough of a charge to be really useful, IMO (for D-303)
