my sockets came today, finally.
so i soldered everything together to find out my switch doesn't work, and the other one i have doesn't shut off for some reason, so i need a new switch.

the volume is really low, there are no solder bridges anywhere.

1. what switch do i need, does it need 3 contacts, if not, which do i use then(of the 3 on the board)
2. I have to adjust teh bias, because i forgot.
3. What else could cause the low volume? i don't have another pot to switch, how do i check it?

anything i am forgetting?

I assume you are talking about the power switch. Connecting the two contacts furthest from the edge of the board will complete the circuit, that is, turn it on. The other one can be safely ignored.

As for low volume, I found that if the source output is too low, the amp does not provide enough gain. This was the case with a sonica at any rate, so it might be wrth checking.
