I want to know what this is. A resistor with this written on it. Dale-m CMF55 1780 1%TI 0231 it is on the inside of a set of XLR to rca adapter.
any input would be greatly appreciate.

I can't tell where the resistor is soldered to by the picture. But if it is inline on pin 1, then it is there to reduce voltage/volume.

The resistor is soldered between pin 1 and 3 and 1 to ground. Pin 2 is soldered to the rca positive connection my question is how much voltage does it reduce and what ohm is it like what would be a suitable replacement you could get on Amazo? Thanks for at least answering
