120gb 6th gen iPod - - -> Flat EQ- - - >Fiio LOD cable - - ->Fiio E5 - - - > Flat EQ- - - > ATH-M50

I am sick of having to download only 320kb/ps files because I am always on the move and cannot play .flac files on my iPod.

So can i rockbox it? (or any other decent software for that matter)

Also are there any large capacity (~100GB ) players out there with better SQ?

Cheers guys.

You don't have to use rockbox for lossless music, you can simply convert them to ALAC (apple lossless), although depending on the size of your .flac library, rockboxing the iPod could save a lot of time. I'm not sure if the 6th gen can be roxboxed or not so I can help you any more, sorry

Thanks man, .Alac plays on an iPod? My .flac library at the moment is very small because i never spend much time on my home computer, so it is really quite useless to have a decent collection of it.
Like is syncs/plays straight off iTunes?

The 6G iPod can be rockboxed (literally just looked into it only to find out it would flash my hard drive and I dont want to reload 100gb's in order to just use FLAC and not ALAC)

Then just follow the instructions.
