Heya.
I have a lump of money burning a hole in my pocket and i am unsure of what to do with it.
My current audio setup is my computer through an STX, working both as DAC and AMP, and into my Ultrasone PRO900s.
In this setup, what is the limiting component? I was thinking about upgrading to a Schiit Asgard or Little Dot MkV (No tubes, i prefer the slam and detail you get with SS)).
I have a few questions though. Would 50 ohm headphones such as the PRO900 have a tangible benefit from driving them off of a higher quality amp like the above, or are those benefits more apparent at high impedences?
If I would get a benefit from an amp like these, which would you recommend? I am not at all averse to buying used, and in fact, I would probably prefer it.
Or, would this money be better spent reshelling my W3s into customs (Possibly by Kozee?)
