I have a pair of *gasp* Skullfsahkd ink'd canal phones, they are OK for $10. But here is the problem, I find them so uncomfortable after prolonged use. If I use them moderately everyday for a week, my ears start to hurt and feel sore and even without this discomfort, I find it such a chore to push them in my ears, they have such a suffocating feeling. I can only imagine how much worse IEM's are. I think I much prefer buds in terms of reaching for music, but they hurt my pinna's so much after about 30mins.

Would I get decent audio (and good comfort), home & portable out of something like PX 100's ? or are there any phones in the Sony v150/ PX 100 form factor (no larger) that cost under $100?

Thanks,

Course. My AD700's leak really bad :p
Since they're most likely going to use it outside, isolation will be an issue.

[offtopic]Oh man, I dunno whether to get Comply Tips for my C700's. The shipping kills me since I'm in New Zealand. It comes out to $10NZ a pair

Comply are a company that specialises in non-consumer audio equipment such as hearing aids etc.. but mmm....$10NZ a pair..I dunno[/offtopic]
