Nothing succeeds quite like excess and all that jazz...

Either way, it's part of my EDC package, and is usually what I have on hand.

i saw this product on TV and it was this little thing you slide along the edge of the blister packing and it cuts it open. I wish i knew what it was called, but i cant remember it looked petty handy though

Far better than a knife.

Have anyone cut themselves. I did - Bleed like a pig.

A guy I worked with some years ago had his car stolen. (It was an old car, it was just some kids joy-riding.) When he got the car back, he bought a Club steering wheel lock for it - and sliced his hand wide open trying to open the blister pack.

Being the good guys we are, we promptly went out and bought him a pair of plastic scissors, like you give kids to cut paper.

I do find that heavy-duty kitchen shears work quite well. The shears from our Wustof knife set go through that stuff like butter.

Woah wait a sec, you don't have knives or scissors in your entire house?!

I was up studying at school in a lab...the scissors were at home.

You're a med student, there has to be some cutting instruments in the anatomy lab.

i can never find scissors for blister packs either, so i always wind up using one of these:

it's quite a practice in patience, especially when you are drooling over your new toy
