The Intel pro 2100 is very reliable actually, and I also have a 3com 54mb 11g card if I need a faster connection to the network.

As for the trackstick in teh keyboard, I can't get used to it still, bu tit's only early days.

yeah, I like my Dell too, the 600m. It's nice to have the sharp SXGA display. Mine is smaller which is nice for commuting every day - I can take advantage of another 8 hours a week, thus freeing up time!

I'm not talking about speed really, more about range. It seems that the 2100s have a lower recieve sensitivity than the Orinoco/Proxim brand cards.

You are less than 100m away, so range isn't really an issue...

I just recieved my Inspiron 8600 yesterday. Its an awesome machine. I even got the DVD writter, cant wait to start using that!!
