Yeah that sounds stupid alright. they cant be that good, my float 2s are not that good if you compare them to the K 1000. But a fun object non the less. Does anybody know of a site that sells refurbishing stuff? I heard there was one?

You can get spares from JE Sugden in the UK http://www.sugdenaudio.com/ they are agents for Precide here or try http://www.quad-musik.de/ for the rest of Europe
 
If you email Precide direct http://www.precide.ch/ they should be able to tell you if they have agents where you live that can supply spares
