I am in the market for some new IEM's. I have always purchased in the $80 range and am looking for better quality audio and durability. My past phones have been Klipsch S4, Klipsch R6, MEE M6 PRO, Sony MDR-XB60, etc. I listen to a wide variety of music but largely hard rock and metal. I'm looking to spend around $250. I have been considering the RHA T20 or Sennhieser IE80. Clearly I'm no audiophile. I find I am getting overwhelmed. Every time I feel I am close to a decision, I learn About a new pair, such as Dunu, or Audio Technica. I'm not real sure what kind if sound signature I prefer, but I do appreciate good bass. I don't know that I'd consider myself a bass head. I use my IEM's a couple hours every day and carry them with me everywhere, so durability is important. I have found no way, locally, to try any EIM's, so I could sure use some direction and advice.
