It's because you're not expecting to buy it, so it's almost a surprise, like a christmas present!!!

That said, I much prefer the long hours of choosing and making sure I know what I want, and I LOVE getting stuff through the post... it's so much fun!

i second that.

comfy pads make the mids/highs loose sparkle. for this reason the bass perception is higher...but comfies, without the hole mod, sound muddy and claustrophobic...quite bad

Glad you're enjoying your SR-60s (though your post says RS). Alot of people find that the 80s are two aggressive when it comes to bass. From what i've read I think the 60s are a logical choice, and if you want more; the 125s.
