I blame Tuberoller and Todd for this...

And the site is...

Don't say I never did anything for any of ya

I have looked at Audiobasic's site through a link at Audiogon. I was a bit concerned about the cost of shipping from Canada, and the potential import taxes (if any) that would eat up whatever savings. I just might have to try them and see, their prices sure are reasonable.

I have this on CD and on SACD, I am purchasing it on vinyl. I have only heard it on vinyl once, and that was over a year ago. But from I recall, it sounded much better than the CD and even a bit better than the SACD versions.

There's so much great music in the world (let alone great jazz music) that I just can't justify listening to Chuck Mangione. It's the watered-down Kool-Aid version of jazz. 100% muzak. And yes, I have actually listened. I'm not pre-judging.

Free Trade my North American brother...I think?
I'm just looking over an amusicdirect receipt and I can't see any additional charges after purchase and shipping. I often get CDs from California for $2 shipping/standard mail.

I just thought that if you're going to be ordering ten LPs at a time, audiobasic's discount and shipping offers would kick in and make it worthwhile.

"Free Shipping to the US for purchases $125.00+
Includes Insurance and Tracking no#." $125CAD=$94USD
I don't know if the other discounts based upon amount purchased apply for American customers.

Oh man, you've got it bad!!

Looks like you've got quite a nice selection there. I do this regularly with CD's...I can't imagine what it will be like if the vinyl bug ever bites.

Please do not show me sites like this...Already that Led Zeppelin, "The Song Remains the Same" is looking way too tempting--I can't afford vinyl! I can't even afford school!
