I have a pair on loan, I'll eventually get round to reviewing them. They are really impressive though!

Look forward to that, pictures I've seen suggest fine craftsmanship.
Really hope they sound as good as they look.

I just bought a set from their Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/HylandHeadphones using the discount offer in the link from their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Almakesheadphones/
Have added some pictures of my set in the gallery https://www.head-fi.org/gallery/album/hyland-headphones.1154807/
I agree with ostewart, they are very good, add to that being a unique, handmade item, I'm really pleased with them. I believe there are headbands coming soon, and Alex Hyland will be demoing at CanJam London if you want to see them or listen first.

No it's made from scratch. Grado inspired maybe. Some aspects remind me of Spirit too.

How comfortable is the headband, would having a shaven head create issues in long listening sessions.
I know the pads themselves are very comfortable and would imagine they'd ultra lightweight too.
Do you think their would be rubbing issues for the unfortunate among us with shiny heads.

Is this just a heavily modded Grado?
Nope... Using different drivers he's managed to tune them really well

They're so light there's little weight on the head and a lot of the support comes from the large pads, so the headband isn't really noticeable.
The pads look exactly like the Grado G cushion pads. Does anyone know if the material is the same and whether the fit is similar? The headphone is nicely designed but still very close to Grado.

Would probably say they'd grado after market version, the true versions are half the price of the headphones over here in united kingdom

Generic G-Cush pads, more comfortable than stock Grado ones. Also these are styled on Grados but the sound is quite different.
