I am in the process of upgrading the system in my sig. I have fixed my eyes on either the Rockhopper Hybrid Millet or the Little Dot III, both of which are under the three-hundred dollar bracket to replace my Little Dot II. While I love my LD II a lot, I know that it is still impeding my 580 a lot. So my question is which one of these amps is the best? I have some general impression that the hybrid should have better bass definition with its half SS circuitry, but is it significantly better than the Little Dot III? What I find missing particularly in my LD II is the bass impact... So which one fits the bill better? Or for the money I should look for a better amp than this bunch? Generally I prefer tube amp, though. Thanks!

I know that the LDIII was "voiced" using Sennheiser headphones. The LDIII also has higher quality components than most Millet Hybrids, although how that translates into sound quality is anyone's guess.
