So my Dunu d1000s finally died. What are some good deals of hybrids these days?

Well you have the 1More Quad Drivers and then the KZ ZS10’s to name a few. I listen to the ZS10’s a bit more but the Quads are also pretty good.

I have only used the stock cable, sorry. It is fairly robust and I am reasonably happy with it.

zS10 and Bluetooth cable artived. This thing has a deep V. But a little EQ and sounds just fine. I'm pretty happy for the price.

Yes the Bluetooth does brighten them up I like them more from the original cable as they are not as bright.
