I am currently considering purchasing a HRT Music streamer ii+ (old version that isn't "roundy") from a fellow head-fier and I was wondering if there was ANY difference in sound compared to the new roundy one that looks like the music streamer ii (just in a light blue color).


aside from the shape, i know that the old one also doesn't have the led lights indicating the playback / sample rate.


i have heard that there is absolutely 0 difference in sonics (not from the seller, but from someone else). is this true?

So, what is the difference (except from the housing shape and the LED's)? I am looking to buy a used trapezoidal one too.. any noticeable difference in sound quality?
