nextcube,you're basically correct although the cans aren't actually bigger it's just the part with the red 'joseph grado...'writing on that's fractionally wider

The HP1's I have are in excellent condition with lowish use whereas the HP2's have had alot more use and are clearly more worn.

daycart1,I use the same pads for each pair of phones and the headband tension is the same on each.
