Yeah, they look very much like the CD300's in terms of the headband. Still, what the heck is JVC doing making high-end headphones? It seems like every device I've ever owned by them is total crap.

Well that is the complete opposite from my experience. I have a 6-7 year old JVC television that has never needed any service and has never given me one issue over the time I've owned it. Compare that to the two other newer Sony's in the house which have both needed service/alignment etc. in less than two years. I also have a JVC dvd player and an old cd player from the late 80's that is still going strong and showing no signs of passing on. Granted it's not hi-fi material but it doesn't sound like crap either.

Now as far as high-end headphones are concerned...I don't think of JVC but who knows.
