Is it 'musical' like a proper "audio op-amp" ? Is it similar to the AD8066 (which is less musical, for my ears) ? Is it worth it to replace an OPA2134 with it?

Thanks for answering

bump...

If anyone has heard it, can you summarize briefly how it sounds like?

andrea, did you manage to get your hands on one of these opamps yet?

I just sent an order off to digikey for a couple ad8033/8034 opamps. I plan to use them in a PPAS driving LMH6321 buffers. If you are curious, I'll let you know how they sound when the amp is built. Got a couple more to try also; an AD746, AD825, and a LM4562 on the way also. Do you have experiences with any of these others?

Not yet, the AD8033/4 - I've already got too many samples, and far too little amps!

The AD746 is wonderful sounding for my ears. Perhaps the best op-amp I've heard. Perfect for the PPAS ! Unless you mean to power it with 9V. I didn't exactly love the AD8066 that came just before it (in my Xenos), instead. And if this enables me to make a prediction...(???)

At the moment, I'm debating whether I'll use the AD746 or try and go 'blindly' with the LM4562 (if I'll want to pay for the samples) in my incoming 'fresh new' Xenos...
