Hi,
I have had MSB DAC Link III for a few years, then followed the crowd and brought Philips 963SA, then EMU 1212M.
I think EMU is good enough that I considered selling the MSB and not worry about source anymore. But deep down I still want to hear someone do a comparision between the high-end DACs / CDPs and soundcards, anyone?
BTW 1: The reason I ask is recently I read about Stello (http://www.soundstage.com/revequip/stello_da220.htm), and MSB platinum II ... Seems there are lots of DACs coming out these days.
BTW 2: EMU has come out with a new card (0404) which is a cheaper 1212M but is limited to 96kHz and doesn't come with a daughter card / balanced outputs
