How will this Input Controller effect sound quality?

Hi all

I recently bought an RCA Input Selector/Controller because I ran out of inputs! I'm now about to invest in some ICs - looking at things like the QED Qunex 2 and Qunex 3 ranges....things around that kind of quality/budget.

Anyhow, I then got to wondering whether the Controller is likely to degrade SQ. Also, as I understood it with ICs and such, they are only as good as your weakest link. I know the ICs I'm looking at are hardly mega-audiophile, but for the quality that they are, is it still worth getting them if I will be running them through the Controller?

The Controller is a BTech BT31, and I've posted links to some pics so that you can see what I'm going on about.

Would really appreciate any input (haha).

Cheers

Max

I don't have any experience with this specific selector, but it looks pretty well-made from the pictures, so I wouldn't worry about it. I use a Mapletree Audio LR1 switchbox and I don't notice any degradation in sound quality with it.
