Hello.

I have a pair of Audio Technica athpro700 mk2's, (here http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-PRO700MK2-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B004KCLIFA/)
and I own a fiio e6 amp.

Will I benefit at all from a higher priced amp, say, even if I went 40$-60$? I heard that non-expensive headphones amps pretty much only make it louder. Which I don't need because I'm good at volume 16 with my amp on XD What I really want is to get the good sounding quality out of the headphones. I heard if you amp them it will unlock it's potential and give it a bunch of bass n stuff so I'm wondering if this would apply for "average" amps. Would the sound quality improve at all with my pair of cans (38 ohms) ---> [EDIT] Also if my headphones would benefit in sound quality, what would you recommend?

Thanks! I'm really not well informed on this stuff XD

What sources do you plug the Pro700/E6 into?

I doubt you going to get much of a boost in bass getting a different headphone amplifier.
