I got an NF IC cable with 2 isolated core strands and a shield, what options do I have and what are the advantages / tradeoffs ? First idea was to use one strand for signal, one strand for ground and connect the shield to ground on one end only. Or use both core strands for signal and the shield for ground. Is there an impact on the resulting capacitance of the IC ?
