Please excuse me if this is a silly question or one with an obvious answer.

I've read good things about the reasonably-priced Zero 24/192 amp/preamp.

My source is iPod using Apple Lossless rips. I'm thinking of buing the Zero amp for use on my desktop. However, I note the only input is "digital in" for use with optical or coaxial cables. Is there a way to attach my iPod to this amp? If so, what type of cable would I need to buy and where can I obtain it?

Thanks.

well that is a DAC with a built in headphone amp, it is meant to have a digital input and then convert it into an analog output. The ipod only has an analog output, so it is kinda usless. The zero dac is more useful with cd players that have a digital output. The only way to use this with an ipod would be to buy the wadia itransport which manages to pull a true digital output from the ipod.
