hi so am getting the vali 2 and also taking the creative zxr of mine with my on vacations so just wanted to know the procedure to use the creative zxr as a dac and not use its amp as i dont want double amping obviously anyways i was wondering how would i do that I saw how to do it a year ago but can't find it anyone know how?

Use the RCA outputs on the main card (the one that plugs into the PCIe slot) - select either "Stereo" or "Stereo Direct" in the drivers. That will use the card's built-in DACs and line outputs, but bypass the headphone amplifier. If you add an external DAC, use the TOSlink output (on the secondary card, the one that plugs in with the ribbon cable) and select "Play Stereo Mix to Digital Output" in the drivers.
