The top section of the cable as it reaches either cup of the headphone has a few twists compared to the orientation of the wire as it exits the plastic tab where the two channels wires join into 1 cable.

Its nothing really but i'm just really confused how this could happen... the cable cannot be taken off the cups can it? The cups rotate but its not clear how this would put the spin onto the wire.

Just wondering really, anyone had this/fixed this?

Cheers

Jim

It sounds like the plug has gotten pulled through the yoke a time or two.

Definitions:

Plug = the plug that you attach to the amp with.

Yoke = the "Y" formed by the separate earpiece cables meeting the main cable.

Try taking the plug and putting it through the yoke, pulling the rest of the cable behind it. If the result is more twist, then do in opposite direction. If result is less twist, then do again until all twist is removed.

Hope this makes sense - would be much easier in person ...

It's rather obvious but as agile_one pointed out, it happens when you put the cable through the Y split, such as when curling the cables up for transport and you unpack it.

Just wanted to check as I didn't want to unplug them as i was testing the whole keeping them charged theory (on for >24 hours now).

Job done.
