I own a pair of UE TripleFi10 IEMs. How do I know if these are balanced or not? And if they aren't balanced, is there a way to modify them so that they are?

Easiest way to tell is by looking at the terminal jack. Post a picture and we can help.
Or you could count the number of rings on the 2.5mm/3.5mm jack
2 black rings (also called TRS) = Single ended/Unbalanced
3 black rings (also called TRRS)= Balanced OR has a mic
For example: 2.5mm trrs vs 3.5mm trs

is there any balanced (trrs) 3.5mm jack? because i have no luck finding one..
Swap the cable for a balanced one. Which amp do you have? You need to get a balanced cable with a plug that matches the balanced output jack of your amp. FiiO has one for UE with 2.5mm TRRS: http://www.fiio.net/en/products/58And if they aren't balanced, is there a way to modify them so that they are?
Are you looking for a replacement balanced cable (for which earphones)? If you can't find a cable with 3.5mm TRRS plug, you have a couple of choices. You can get a cable with 2.5mm TRRS along with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm TRRS adapter, or you can get a cable custom configured with the connectors you need.is there any balanced (trrs) 3.5mm jack? because i have no luck finding one..
