I think there might be an issue with supporting a preamp gain stage like in iTunes. That's the one feature I long for, as it would alleviate me having to MP3Gain all my music to avoid clipping.

Why the hell do you need to EQ the bass on a DT770, and more importantly... 12DB? thats freaking insane. A little music with your bass sir?

If you want a 'nice' boost of bass, set the Preamp to -5, 32hz to +5, 64hz to +5, 125hz to +2. This should make the sound more full on bass deficient phones. There is no need to EQ 250hz and above since most headphones don't roll off until well below that.

in Itune equalizer
32 -> 1 bar
64 -> 1.5 bar
125 -> 0.9 bar
250 -> 0.2 bar
i use this equalizer with Denon D2000 and it produces large amount of booming bass also deep bass. One nice thing that it doesn't sound recessing; it doesn't affect low vocal much. U can hear trebe and mid nicely, just bass is overwhelming, nothing is lost

also u can pull the preamp to -12 db
