Hey guys, can someone go into more detail about how the W5000 pads "pull right off"? Mine don't seem to do that, in fact they seem quite stubborn. I don't want to break the headphones trying to get them off. What's the secret here? I see they sort of rotate, is there a certain position they need to be in?

Thanks!

The thin pleather strip just stretches around the face of the headphones and slides into the notch. If you're trying to literally pull them straight off you're going to rip them apart... you have to pull the pleather strip out at some point then work it out the rest of the way around the circumference. It seemed plainly obvious when I had my pair, unless something has changed.

Fitz, you rock, thank you, man. This, folks, is a case of "it's so obvious, it's hard". LOL. OK, so the trick is you just have to pull the pleather straight off (and don't be scared). I mistakenly thought there was some plastic element here like on the D5000s, but there isn't.

Thanks again Fitz.
