I just can't figure out how to open these.

I recently purchased an IEM with wax coated deep on the right side meshing (lucky me) Thankfully, I had a tooth brush handy and some alcohol / methylated spirits. I tipped some metho into the bottle cap, dipped the tooth brush in and brushed away on the grill with a flicking motion off to the side. The earpiece cleared up for a day but in the morning when I put them on again was a little imbalanced to the left still, After a second attempt repeating the process everything was fine.
