Hi all. I bought a demo CT 470 without all the accessaries. My question is how do you recharge the rechangeble batteries? Pop in 2 NimH in the battery compartment in the CDP using outboard DC supply or use separate charger to charge betteries outside the CDP? Thanks in advance.

I know someone with the ct570 so i guess it should be the same.. just pop the OEM batteries in to the player and plug in the power supply.

But my friend is using all the original panasonic equipment though, if you are too, then i think it should be the same.

I think CT 470 uses 2 AAA size cells. You can recharge in the unit exactly the way you describe it, or you can get a separate charger that takes AAA batteries. The advantage of the latter is that separate chargers (the better ones) do not overcharge you batteries.
