Can someone please point me in the right direction on how to put videos on the new ipod?

I know Apple wants me to purchase videos from them, but there must be a way to put my own clips on the ipod.

I have no idea what file type is needed (my clips are all .avi), or even how to sync the file onto the ipod.

Please help.

Videora is amazingly easy to use. I've been totally ignoring the music and just playing with videos all day long!

huh? didn't know that media center was required for videora. an alternative would be mpegx4live. i use that to capture tv programs from the tv card.

I tried Videora and it converted my .avi files beautifully.

The program is extremely easy to use. The Simpsons look great on the iPod screen. I'll have to try a movie next.

I highly recommend Videora. Thanks for the help.
