I`ve searched and searched again without finding the proper post for this, so here I am posting it myself.

Currently got a pair of somewhat dead grado sr80s which I need to change the whole cable in. It`s probably the jack-plug connection that is gone, but the cup-cables could be dead as well. Question is, how do I open the grado phones? Are they glued together, or am I doing something wrong? I tried opening them but they seem very glued to me. Is there any other way of opening them?
