I'm having this problem where WASAPI and ASIO4ALL doesn't do 24/192 - 24/96 no problem.

The only way now I can do it is with direct stream, which sucks but the only choice.

My only other option now is burn it into a DVD or CD and use it as a transport to the dac.

Any ideas?

Current set up - Foobar/Jriver -> Musiland Xsword 24/96 - coaxial out -> Citypulse - Varied output(preamp out) -> AE A5

I'm not sure but based upon your signature "Musiland Xsword 24/96" it seems that your system may not transmit or decode 24/192 data. I'm curious what 24/192 files that you are trying to play?

I found around the net some free 192 samplers in FLAC.

Asio4all turned up as an error, saying it doesn't support the bitrate.

That's because your sound card can't support the bitrate. <_<
