Hi everyone,

I am a new member to this forum site, but I have been having problems with my amazing ath-m50s lately.  So, my 3.5 mm jack piece snapped off.  How do I fix this?  I have heard about soldering on a new connector, but can anyone point me to a tutorial/parts link that will explain that further?

Also, it was said that someone could just buy an entirely new cable.  How do I do that? I know I would need to find an ATUS authorized dealer, but would they just give me the part? How do I replace the two cables if I did this approach instead of the soldering?

Also, here is what my jack looks like right now

Thanks!

The last one is the smaller one, but you can always contact the first website asking

The viablue t6s small has a relatively low profile

And last, you can always use ebay:

Cut the original jack off, buy a replacement one (from radio shack), buy a soldering iron, some 60/40 solder, learn how to solder.

Watch a how to video, and your good.
