yes, i've noticed that. Apple is a company to be avoided IMO, they use marketing and style over substance to sell things and also consumer ignorance. if someone chooses them by choice that is one thing but most don't know any better and follow the herd.
the poroblem is that thye over price alot of their products and whilst they are a minor player in the comp field they have alot of influence in this market and keep prices artificially high. hell most companies only have to offer a few extra features and price it slightly lower to stay competative and that ain't saing much, ipod's have done nothig to innovate from what i have seen and are extremely anti-competative.
in saying that i use an ancient Sony MD player at the moment as although sony has it's faults there MD palyers ain't bad.
I am aware alot of people will defend them so hope this doesn't start a flame war although it is a bit late to say that but then again, i don't see why i should have to worry about these things.
