Hey all, this is my first post so please bear with me. I just got the HD497's and I've heard that the driver part detaches from the headband to make them a little bit more portable. How exactly do I do this and will doing it be bad for the phones? The phones didn't come with any directions or anything so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't have my 497s with me at the moment, but if I remember correctly just slide the drivers all the way up until they pop off.

Thanks guys... I got them off, but it seems like taking them off and on repeatedly would probably weaken the plastic that's holding them in so I just asume that it probably isn't a good idea to do it too many times. Oh well.
