How to deal with morning frost on windshield

Newer cars don't mind so much. My car chugs and putters along if you try it.

Yea pretty much what I said...Modern engines don't require a warm up.

Now if you have an old carbureted car, such as the 1986 Buick I drove for a few years you need to depress the accelerator to the floor(to set the choke) let up the accelerator, start it and let it run for a few minutes with the choke open.

i usually pour hot water over the windshield and it does its job
