So, I sold my friend my HSU STF-2 subwoofer, and recommended that he get M-Audio AV40 speakers because of his budget. I looked at the picture and thought I saw an output for the sub, but alas, it was and input for the music. Is there a way to hook up the sub to the speakers? If so, that'd save me the thought of having him buy speakers that won't even work with the sub

Thanks.

One solution is to use an integrated amplifier with a pre out.

1) Connect the high-level inputs from the amplifer to the HST STF-2 using speaker cables terminated with banana plugs.

2) Connect the pre outputs from the amplifier to the M-Audio AV40 line inputs using a stereo interconnect cable with RCA plugs.
