Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a Schiit Bifrost DAC coupled to a Lyr Amp. I'll connect the Bifrost to my PC via USB, and then to my Lyr via RCA. How can I also connect the DAC to my stereo amp (which is connected to my speakers) without having to switch cables each time I want to switch from my headphones to my speakers?

Would this kind of RCA cable works? Will I lose some quality if I do this? There are really few DACs with 2 RCA outputs, so I don't really understand how I'm supposed to connect it to both my headphones amp and my stereo amp at the same time.

Thanks :)

Get 2 rca to 3.5mm adaptors.

Then get a 3.5mm splitter.

Then 3.5mm to 2 rca adaptors,

I have used such systems and although audiophools will tell there is a huge loss in quality, in reality it is really minor and barely audible even with side by side testing,

Thanks, but read my previous post: the Audioquest adapter I'm linking is (in my opinion) much better than what you're suggesting.

Even if we're putting aside sound quality, it's just much cleaner/simpler.
