Sorry, I might be dumb or something. Got the Objective 2 amp and I can't figure out how I can connect it with my computer. I didn't have the money to spare on a dac, but I have the Asus Xonar soundcard which has a dac that I wanted to test out with the O2's.

If connecting to the soundcard doesn't work, is there still a way to connect it to the pc?

Do I have to go to a computer store or something and buy a 3.5 to 3.5 headphone jack, connect the computer it to the amp, then connect my headphones to the amp?

Edit*

Or a usb to 3.5?

You can use your sound card with the amp. You didn't mention which model of the Asus Xonar you have. It probably has a 3.5mm output. Connect that to the input of the O2 which I think is also 3.5mm, so you will need a cable like in your first link, or an adapter if they are not both 3.5mm plugs. Then connect your headphones to the O2. If that doesn't work, then you probably have not installed and configured the sound card correctly.

Whatever you do, don't get that. I'd be surprised if that was even a real product. USB is digital and 3.5mm audio is analog, you can't connect the two with a wire without a Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) in between and expect it to work.
