hey guys i need ur help please,
how do i connect my headphone cable to a 3.5 mm jack, cos i cut the old one off that didn't work

tip is left, ring is right and ground is barrel
do you know what wire is what on the cable?

If you can cut off the molded rubber/plastic around the OEM plug you can find out which colored wire went to which solder point. Typically, red = right which is the ring part of the plug. Bare wires are typically ground. But it would be best to be sure.
