So I've been using my HD650 for a few weeks now and I totally love them. The only thing I noticed is that the headband pad on the top is kinda turning white (from gel). I can't shower every single time before I want to use these headphones so I was wondering if this piece can be easily replaced/cleaned or anything?

If it's not easily cleaned/replaced, could someone recommend a method to clean it now so I at least don't let it get bad?

Thanks!

If its only hair gel then a slightly damp cloth and about 30 seconds of elbow machinations should do the trick.

removing the headband pad is really easy. here's what you do:

1. extend the headphone to full extension
2. pry off the two small black tabs on the headband nearest the headband pad
3. slide off the pad
4. wash

easy! good luck. i clean the headband pad and earpads twice a year.
