you do know burn in doesn't exsist do you?

there is no efidence to prove that a driver changes over time, why would it? i've had i grado sr325i for a couple of monthes and there was no change in the sound

One way to tell is that you compare a brand new pair headphones to one that's had about 200 hours of play time on them

I can't say that my Sr80's has improved, but it's hard to tell a difference since it so gradual, 100 hours in a month or so is pretty spread out

I have to dispute that- out of the box my 325is sounded horrible but leveled off quite nicely in about ten hours or so of listening to where they now sound a lot like the ones I'd auditioned in the store I bought them at.

Or maybe it's just my ears... never can be sure.
