HELP!

Are there any owners of Yarland Manual Bias tube amps (E.g. FV34A, PRO88SE or PRO845SE) out there?

Please share with me on the proper steps to bias the output tubes.

I have the English manual but the English is so badly mangled that it does not make any sense to me at all!

Thanks for your help.

I guess ask a question there because there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of response here. The person  there seems to know what he is doing...

Yes he does.
H/W, the amp is such that only a fellow owner would know what I'm talking about.

BTW, an English (as in proper English) speaking authorised distributor finally answered my query via e-mail.

So if anyone ever needs to know how to bias this amp, please feel free to PM me.

Hi i am keen to know what you know about biasing these amps!!!!!!    please reply!!!!

Hi,

At each side of the amp, near the front , you can see 4 holes.
There are 3 vertically aligned and 1 other hole by itself.

For measurement:
Stick your multimeter's leads into the middle and bottom of the 3 holes.
The setting should be in mVolts dc setting.

For adjustment:
Stick a small flat jeweller's screwdriver into the single 1 hole by itself.
For EL34 tubes, you need to adjust till you get a reading of 0.70 mVolts.
