My IEM's always seem to develop faulty connections within a couple months of usage and I always lose sound in one channel.  I don't know why. I always get IEM's with good build quality.I store them carefully and I don't wrap them around anything or stuff like that. When I use them, they are connected to my phone in my pocket and go under my shirt.

It's getting really annoying to send them back for a replacement every time so how can I prevent this from happening.

Thanks

Few options you got. Most falulty connection happens by the 3.5mm jack.

1. This relieves some pressure. However, not really practical on earphones with thicker cables.

2. You can get something like this: it works really well in relieving pressure off the 3.5mm jack.
