Specifically, the Sennheiser HD-280Pros. Does it matter what kind of music I use? I assume I'd want something with a full frequency range. How long should I burn them in for? Would I want them connected to a powered source, or a portable? Any set volume I should use? Should it be continual play for the duration of the burn in, or on and off? Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm a n00b.

This has been discussed several times already, so I'm going to close this thread. search for "burn in" or "break in" and you'll find all the info you need.

I think we might as well leave this one open... if someone could point links directly to specific previous discussions of this issue, then maybe it will be time to close the thread.
