I have Grado 325is phones fully broken in that I got for christmas, and I've been using them unamped until now. I finally ordered a little dot 1+ and a mf v-dac, and was just wondering how much of an improvement should I expect?

a pretty good one. I find that especially with Grados, you'll see a nice improvement with a nice DAC (more so than an amp). The bass will come alive and you'll get some "body" with it (I'm not hip to the jive with the terminology yet). Also, in the future, I'd recommend getting a D2000 as it sounds ace with the LDI+. But I suppose your music prefs may play a role in that as well.
