How much is a brand new ipod video 80g worth?

considering you get an ipod classic 160 gig for just 250, even if you price per GB, you're looking at barely 100 bucks. I'd put it up for 120 OBO.

I'm not entirely sure on the value on your ipod video but I probably wouldn't sell it for less than $150.  I know there are ebay sellers who are charging 400-500 but that seems a bit outrageous, I would assume they are targeting buyers who are purchasing a new 5th/5.5 gen iPod in order to get it iModded from Red Wine Audio.

Yeah, i'd definately buy one for 120. I thought the 5/5.5g had lacking bass though. They last for freaking EVER though. If my sister hadn't lost mine it would still be kicking. All I did is replace the battery on mine to a double capacity once the first one was only holding half. Hard drive never went either, plus the modability of it is insane. Like the CF/SD card mod. not to mention red wine audio's stuff.

I would say $120obo, like mentioned above, is a good price tag. For reference, most used ipod classic 80gb goes for about $80-$100 on ebay without packaging.

A brand new, still sealed gen 5.5 ipod video? Easily $250. Still the best sounding iPod, IMO. You have to pay $120 on ebay or beat up ones these days..
