Nah, Infinity Renaissance 90s (planar tweeters and midrange, conventional [but very stiff] mid-bass and [dual voice coil] woofer) - powered by a typical late 1980s/early 1990s pair of amps: a just adequate Carver TFM-15CB on top and an Adcom GFA-555 on bottom.
 
I'd like to audition some purportedly better amps (Mac/Krell/Levinson/etc.), but I don't have the money.  The Carver+Adcom already sound superb.

I actually had to sit and think about how much I've spent on CDs over the years.....its very upsetting

I hope that you don't mind that I calculated roughly what you've spent (with a pretty large margin of uncertainty), and I'm in awe. I really admire your dedication to what you love. Very interesting thread, too, it really makes you think!
